That "covid thing" did a pretty good number on me. In ten years of the league's existence, this was my first absence. Angie, Jamie, Roland, and Jarrod did a fanatic job. WAGC Team USA Regional Tournaments - Texas / Houston Region

Founded in , HAGA is a non-profit organization run by the members whose purpose is to hold golf tournaments on a regular basis throughout the year on a variety of courses. After the completion of the three events, the member will be placed in a flight with players of like skills. Until they are placed in the appropriate flight, new members compete in a Special Flight against other new members. Typically, we have three or four flights per tournament depending on the size of the field. Flights are based on course handicaps which reflect the tees being played and there will be at least four paid places in each flight.
Prior to the championships, qualifiers are held to determine which amateurs will move on and play in each event. The top 40 plus ties will move on to the third and fourth round played on the same day. For full Greater Houston City Amateur information click here.
